The Town of Troy, along with the Town of East Troy and the Village of East Troy, have jointly purchased a Bucket Truck. The Bucket Truck cost and maintenance, will be split equally between the municipalities. This venture will help keep costs down and more residents will benefit from the purchase.
The Assessor has completed an annual review of all properties in the Town of Troy. Assessments have been adjusted to reflect changes in the market conditions as well as new construction, remodeling, land divisions, and agriculture use. The Town of Troy has several road projects planned for this summer. Already under way is Bluff Road from Highway 67 in Little Prairie to Scout Road. Other projects scheduled are Scout Road, from Bluff Road to Little Prairie Road, 1st, Second, Third, Fourth, and Briggs Streets in Troy Center. Scout and Bluff Roads will have a least one lane open to traffic.
Chip Seal and Crackfill will also be done this summer on the following roads: Little Prairie Road, from Scout Road to Half Mile Road, to Adams Road. Half Mile Road from Little Prairie Road to Bluff Road is also slated to begin soon. An actual date for the Chip Seal and Crackfill is to be determined. In addition, a small patch of Woodview Trace will be dug out and patched.

For the exclusive enjoyment of the Residents of the Towns of East Troy and Troy, and the Village of East Troy, the Booth Lake Memorial Park opens this weekend. The Park is open 9 am to 9 pm, and is located at N8465 Townline Road. The park will remain open until Labor Day.
