Town of Troy Highway Department is seeking snow plow truck drivers for the 2020-2021 plowing season. The position will be on call/as needed. There may be possible additional hours available performing highway maintenance tasks at the discretion of the Highway Superintendent. A CDL License (minimum of a Class B with air brake endorsement) preferred. The Town of Troy offers competitive wages. Walworth County COVID-19 Data Snapshot
I would like to thank everyone who volunteered to work the General Election as well as the previous 2020 Elections. You should all be commended for a job well done. For the Presidential Election, the Town processed 942 absentee ballots, 698 voted in person and 76 people registered on Election Day. Total ballots cast was 1640 at the close of the Election night.

Thank You to the Troy Center Fire Department for the use of the Fire Department, the space was perfect for holding a General Election during a pandemic. On Saturday, October 10, 2020, The Town of Troy will be holding an Electronics Recycling event from 8am until 11am. Electronic items can be dropped off at the Town Garage located at N8851 County Road N in Troy Center. Please bring proof of residence. If you are bringing large televisions, you will need to unload those items. So if they’re heavy please bring someone to help you with those items. Persons with disabilities that may need assistance unloading should let the i.d. checker know. We do not except large office equipment (example: Copy machines).
